Profile of Amy Mannahan
Mannahan has had a wealth of experience in the human services field. She has served as Regional Manager and as a Social Worker for the Seraaj Family Homes, Inc. (SFH) Huntsville, Alabama regional office for almost a decade.
During her employment with the agency, she has had the opportunity to present research on a national level and is an accomplished Group Preparation and Services Trainer for potential foster parents. Not only is Mannahan a skilled trainer, but she is also skilled in interviewing, data analysis, corrective action plan development, advocacy and much more.
Prior to her tenure with SFH, Mannahan gained much experience in social services as a Case Manager, Therapist, and as a Family Service Worker. During these employments, she gained experience in counseling, developing treatment plans, conducting psycho-social assessments, supervision and much more.
Mannahan graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville (Alabama) with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology. She decided to further her education by obtaining a Master’s degree in Social Work.
